Watched this movie a couple of days ago. It's another one of those Japanese horror/suspense/gory movie. The movie is totally creepy. Basically it's about the suicide fad in Japan that has a great impact on the country. The movie starts with some 54 Japanese high school girls committed suicide at the train station by jumping off the train platform, then into the track just before the train arrives which then run over all the 54 girls.

It's really interesting to see how people can get manipulated easily by words. The movie shows how an all-girl pop band is able to spread suicide message through music. I had no idea that music can be this influential and how music can really affect social changes among people...

talking about censorship...

I was surfing the net when Rui De asked me to check out this article. Some of you may know about it but heck it anyway…

After spending almost my entire vacation, we finally had our concert at the Victoria Concert Hall. Matthew asked me to help out in the choir because they lacked baritone singers. I thought it was only for a short while so I agreed. But rehearsals were like hell. I had to come to school everyday, and I would usually reach home at about 11pm. I didn’t get the chance to break fast with my family for two weeks, which is like totally depressing for me. So much for my vacation…

In the end, all those painful rehearsal and spending all my free time at school and not being able to break fast with my family, it was all worth it. We did in fact put up a kick ass performance and the audience loved it. I’ve never felt so satisfied ever since Cadet Championships. In fact those rehearsals, hard work and time spent to put up a close-to-perfect concert kind of reminded me of the Joseph musical back in 2004. haha…but that doesn’t mean I decided to join the SP choir…

I’ve always wanted to blog about last two weeks’ National Trials. Okay I’ll go straight to the point. I won the second national trials! Well luck was on my side big time. The elites didn’t compete, so the only strong fencers left were Jing Xun, Joseph, and me, I guess. And it was quite an easy competition, and there should not be a reason for me to fumble because there were only 8 fencers. The thing is that I was fating during the competition!! Haha, well I guess luck was REALLY on my side.

In fact, I personally felt that DP fencers did very well for this competition. Harshan lost to Wei Wen 15-14 in the quarter final round, and harshan was fasting during the competition as well.

After National trials all of us played pool while waiting for the time to break fast. We were totally exhausted. It’s not easy for one to compete without food or water. Actually I’d rather die of hunger than to die of thirst. My throat was like completely dry. When it was about 6.30, we met up with coach and the rest at a food court. Coach was discussing with me about flying to Romania for a training camp. Although food and accommodation will be taken care of, my dad wouldn’t allow me to go because I still got school during that point of time :( . Well I guess I have to wait till the semester ends.

Hey is my blog dead yet? Well it’s been more than a month since I updated. hahaha

Now I got a lot to update...
